For HubSpot teams who use Square for payments
Your invoice, your numbering, your Square account. Collect on a card reader with the customer in front of you, on a branded checkout page, or let Square email it and chase the reminders — and the payment lands back on that invoice, itemized and marked paid.
Nothing to configure per invoice, no mapping screen to maintain, and no second system your reps have to remember to update.
Both by OAuth, from your own accounts. No API keys to copy and nothing pasted into a settings screen. Three minutes, once.
The invoices you already raise in HubSpot, with their balances, on the record your rep is already looking at. You keep your own numbering — we don't issue a second invoice.
Charge a Square Terminal with the customer in front of you, send them a branded checkout page, or let Square email the invoice and chase the reminders. Same invoice, three ways out.
A payment against that invoice, an order with the line items, the contact matched to its Square customer. The rep does nothing. Nobody opens Square to reconcile.
All standard objects. No custom objects to create, no schema to design, and nothing that needs an Enterprise plan — which is the usual reason integrations like this are out of reach.
| HubSpot record | What happens to it |
|---|---|
| Invoice | Read for its balance, then the payment is recorded against it and it stops reading as unpaid |
| Payment | One per payment taken, associated to the invoice, the contact and the deal |
| Order | Mirrors the Square order, so what actually sold is itemized on both sides |
| Line items | Copied per record — quantity, price, discount and tax, not just a total |
| Contact | Matched to a Square customer by email, or flagged for review when two people share one |
| Company | Kept as the billing entity where one is set on the deal |
| Product | Kept in step with your Square catalog |
| Deal | Payments associate back, so pipeline reporting reflects money actually in |
Refunds write back as their own record, so a refunded invoice stops reading as collected. Partial payments track down to the remaining balance rather than flipping straight to paid.
For the invoices tool. Professional and Enterprise work too, but nothing here requires them.
Your own, with your own rates. US sellers while we're in beta.
Connect both by OAuth. No API keys to copy, nothing pasted into a settings screen.
Only if you take payments in person. Everything else works without hardware.
Unlimited seats on every plan. You keep your own Square account and Square's own processing rates — we don't add a percentage on top.
